The North Yorkshire County Youth Choir comprises of singers from school years 7 to 13, boys and girls, from all parts of North Yorkshire and beyond, both state and independent schools. We have just undertaken an exciting tour of the Salzburg area in Austria and throughout the coming year, we will be involved in rehearsals, concerts and a residential course next July. We enjoy singing music from all traditions – usually in 4 parts (SATB) – and have performed everything from Mozart to ‘The Greatest Showman’! Joining the choir does not require an audition or any formal qualifications – the only requirement is that you enjoy singing and being part of an amazing group of young people!

The Youth Choir is a full SATB choir for young people in school Years 7 – 13. The choir attracts members from across North Yorkshire and surrounding counties from schools in both the state and independent sectors.
